With our 3 step - first aid treatment for burns. First - Consider your own safety first and stop the source of the burn. • If you are on fire: Stop. Drop and roll • For electrical burns: Turn off current • For chemical burns: Remove the burning agent and irrigate with water. Remove all jewelry, watches and clothing if not stuck to the burn site. Place burn under running cold water for 20 minutes. It feels like forever at the time but it will make a difference to the recovery and treatment of your burn. Do not use other items that could make your burn worse, such as ice, butter, toothpaste, creams and ointments. Apply Burnaid® Gel liberally to the affected area, including blisters if present. DO NOT RUB. Cover with a clean dressing. Burnaid® Gel cools fast and works to keep the burn cool by drawing out the heat. Repeat each half hour as needed.
